Good to be home

As we headed home to Tennessee, we stopped last night in Montgomery, Alabama. I think we all know from these vacation posts and others that I am all about seeing new things. I had never been to Montgomery, so we stopped her so we could visit the Rosa Parks Museum. It was quite fascinating and educational. You can even opt to “ride” in a “bus” that has educational videos as you go along. Montgomery has some other Civil Rights memorials that we really wanted to visit, but turns out they weren’t open on Tuesdays. I’m really glad the Rosa Parks Museum was open.

And with that, we were off with Kevin for our real home base. All in all, a great summer vacation trip!
